I just wanted to say to everyone that I am so honestly flattered right now. I really feel unworthy.
When my manager and I first thought of the idea to do a contest, it originally sprang from the fact that people
had been posting on youtube, or telling me about their covers of my tunes. I thought there'd be a handful of submissions, and I got 50.
And thats no small feat. Believe me, to take the time to learn the chords, find the lyrics, borrow a camera, etc...
were talking about serious commitment and dedication to a cause, and I feel so grateful. I can't believe it.
Now the contest, it was kind of tongue in cheek, because whos to judge? I'm probably the worst judge of covers
of my own songs, because Ive heard them MY way 5 million times, so Id probably like them backwards, in Spanish,
and at double speed the best.
So please take it for what it is, an excercise in the love of songwriting and singing,
enjoyed by people not because its been mass marketed to them, but because they first heard it in a beer soaked night
club one night, maybe when they least expected it.
You all definitely gave me a boost when I least expected it.

MEET OUR WINNERS!...
THE GRAND PRIZE GOES TO POW NAVARRO FOR HIS VERSION OF BETTER HALF!...
The Fine Print: All artists that enter the contest are judged by our panel
members using a music review form they are required to complete. Following the
model that expert reviewers use everyday in the industry, judges will be required
to watch the entire video submission before submitting a critique and will grade
the performance on a predetermined set of attributes. Each review will display a
score once it has been submitted based on the marks given for each attribute. The
top 10 scoring artists will be reviewed again by our expert Judges Panel and the
Grand Prize winner will be selected.
